Well it's true really! Rock on all.

Lost for words!

Not a lot going on at the mo, working, writing and rehearsing, the usual I guess? Looking forward to this weekends bash though, Keith, myself and Neil. I'll try and get some shots of us three and post them up here next week.

The set* is taking shape and another drummer is coming into the atmosphere of DA, a proper heavy metal hard hitter so I've been told. We'll see. It will be cool if the guy works out, as I'm getting a bit tired of the drum machine now! Bloody thing droning on! Still, it keeps perfect time (laughs all round) and tightens up (like a ducks arse) the the playing and songs with no room for error.

T-shirts are flying out the door too! Nice one . . . thanks to all the people that have ordered one so far. Funny though how it's the old design (Reaper And Scythe T-Shirt) that sells the best? If you're out there, and reading this and have a DA tee, can you let me know why this is? Is the other design shite or something?

The DA website is going to have a few changes done to it soon. Mainly the shop pages will get a bit of a makeover, with some new deals and hopefully some posters. When we can get round to it that is!

Busy busy busy boys we have been of late!

T-shirts finally arrived and have now been sent out to all those that have been waiting. Thank you for your patience.

Rehearsal went well yesterday (29/08/10) still just the three of us though with a drum machine. We will be needing a fit drummer to keep pace with the high tempo songs that seem to be radiating out from our DA core of creativity at the moment!

Holiday was great. Surfing, sun, rain and fun. Love Wales (Llangrannog) and Cornwall (Bude). We did a thousand miles all-round trip taking in all sorts wonderful vistas, stopping at and frequenting many a hospitable ale house!

Bit sad the vacation had to come to an end, but the Desolation Angels music is filling the void.

More soon people.

Great article in the Sunday Times (08/08/10) on Bryan Ferry, true style and panache, a one off. The piece about the women (amongst others) that have come and gone, amazing. One of his catches (no, never a catch in Bryan Ferry's world, always and more like a romance every time) was 21 years old that was in 2002, his present girlfriend is 28. To cool for a chap in his sixty's, sexy sixty's maybe?! Rock on Mr Ferry.

Reminds me of our man Paz, Into his third marriage now, still looking fit, trim and a good sense of humour. Shame it didn't work out with him on the drums though, but still, it was cool to meet up again after so many years and have a good old jam like that. Cheers mate see you again sometime.

Wow what a car . . . James May with nerves of steel and an incredible 267mph Gee! Bloody Hell FAST or what!!! what what.

Tom and Cameron, a top pair on a top show. It's nice to see such stars chilling it on the ol Top Gear like that. I mean I know they are promoting there new film, but hey, great lap times from both, plus a two wheel stunt by Tom on that last corner! Great entertaiment.

A boozy couple of weekends

Last weekend:

A boozy couple of weekends what with one thing an another . . . Birthday rehearsing last week was great, followed by lashings of good old birthday ales, man o man! Still, some fantastic ideas coming through though. I really hope that when this band gets it's self in gear that we will be able to air all these new songs to you and not get to bogged down in the old DA material. But don't worry you older DA fans, believe me there will be a whole heap of old songs, some that we never really did live the last time round. Things like Vision and On Course For Danger, I guess we will have to do Valhalla? Just kidding I know we will have to do it! And I'm looking forward to delivering the new up-tempoed revamped version, as I am Fury, Edge Of Darkness, I'm On Fire, Evil Possessor and Only Time Will Tell.



Things this weekend:

We will be going into new rehearsal rooms in Hackney next weekend with an old drummer from the past (Paz, Richard Parish) to see if the guy still has what it take? Lets hope so. Richard is very enthusiastic and keen to get back into all things rock 'n' roll.



A small gathering to carry on with the birthday celebrations from last week, so that got all rather messy but a great laugh, as you would do after copious amounts of your favourite tipple. Also had the garden set up real nice, tee lighter and coloured lights and the like.

Sometimes I think god let's end it, what's the point? Bord of life . . . I'm not really, but hell the one you love just seems to miss where your coming from, frustration, sod this I can say what I like no ones looking at this site anyway, just getting things off my chest . . .

Lunch At The Kings Head. It's a good thing.

It's great to just sit back and savour the moment, take your time outside the relmes of the nine to five, pints of Doom Bar (Sharps Ale From Cornwall) going down as if I'm on holiday, with this heat it's like I'm there (Cornwall) I'll be surffing down the high street before you know it.

Trouble with the DA web site

We have been held up over the last few weeks by the people that have our site on their server and this has put a stop to getting our t-shirts and other merchandise onto the site.

The reason being that we wanted a blog on our website to gossip and chat to all but they kinda got the brief mixed up and we have lost control of our website, we assume that control will be back in our hands sometime this week and then we will get on with the t-shirts etc.
